Abstract

This study examines the impact of the Recapitulation Information System (SIREKAP) policy on the vote recapitulation process in the General Election in Sungai Penuh City. The research uses descriptive analysis with a quantitative approach, employing a simple linear regression test and the PIECES Framework as analytical tools. The findings indicate that SIREKAP significantly influences the vote recapitulation process, with a significance value smaller than the established error level. The coefficient of determination shows that most of the vote recapitulation variables are affected by SIREKAP, while the remaining factors are influenced by other variables. According to the PIECES Framework analysis, the service indicator has the lowest value compared to other indicators, suggesting that improvements are needed in the service aspect. Overall, users are satisfied with the effectiveness and efficiency of SIREKAP in the vote recapitulation process. The study recommends further system development to optimize services and suggests future research to explore other election-related information systems.
